Fresh Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Fresh Green Beans
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Directions

  • Clean and destem the green beans.
  • Place the beans in a medium sized sauce pan with a lid.
  • Add the water to the sauce pan.
  • Put the saucepan on medium-high heat on the stovetop.
  • When water in pan begins to simmer turn off the stovetop.
  • Allow the beans to sit in simmering water for 2 minutes.
  • Drain the water from the saucepan.
  • Add butter and allow it to melt on the beans.
