Ingredients
- 1 canister Pillsbury Grands! Southern Homestyle Original Biscuits
- 1 pound Bulk Breakfast Sausage
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1 quart Half and Half
- Salt
- Black Pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven and bake biscuits according to package directions.
- Brown sausage in a large skillet.
- Add butter to sausage and let it melt completely.
- Reduce heat to medium heat.
- Sprinkle flour over sausage and butter in skillet.
- Fold flour into sausage and butter.
- Gradually add half and half to mixture until at the consistency of gravy.
- Salt to taste.
- Add substantial black pepper to taste.
- Break open and place a biscuit on a plate.
- Smother biscuit with sausage gravy.
