Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven and bake biscuits according to package directions.
  2. Brown sausage in a large skillet.
  3. Add butter to sausage and let it melt completely.
  4. Reduce heat to medium heat.
  5. Sprinkle flour over sausage and butter in skillet.
  6. Fold flour into sausage and butter.
  7. Gradually add half and half to mixture until at the consistency of gravy.
  8. Salt to taste.
  9. Add substantial black pepper to taste.
  10. Break open and place a biscuit on a plate.
  11. Smother biscuit with sausage gravy.
