The Best Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Margarine (softened)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup Mashed Banana
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9 inch by 5 inch loaf pan.
  3. Beat sugar and margarine in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Beat in eggs, then bananas.
  5. Add flour and baking soda, stirring just until combined.
  6. Pour mixture into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick in the center comes out clean (about 1 hour).
  8. Remove from the pan and let cool.
